On the 11^th July the College welcomed over 80 people from 60 different businesses to take part in the Y10 Mock Interview Day. What a day it was with fantastic feedback from students and our business people. We are so lucky to have so many willing partners who once again donated some fantastic prizes including an iPad and a Laptop for the students who not only provided a great CV but also impressed our business people. 330 interviews were carried out and 290 CV’s were submitted. The longest interview was 42 minutes! Thank you to the many businesses, organisations and individuals who gave our Y10 students the best experience. This is what enables our students to leave Horizon as equipped as they can be for their career journey. Business partnering with education is so powerful, impactful and for some young people life changing. We are already planning some great career events and collaborations for the next academic year.
